Early Age Marriage - Misconceptions

Disclaimer:
Please read before you go ahead… to save me and you from boring emails
and comments.

  • The following lines are
written by me as what I want to say not what you want to listen.
  • I am a born Muslim but I
have rediscovered Islam according to my way. I had to answer some
    questions
arising I had 3 ways, I talk like a Muslim then I would have been
    biased
against some other religion or it would be taken as “A Muslim
    Defending
    his faith
”. If I would have choosen to defend Muslim Ummah or
System then the argument would have persisted. To avoid problems I
    have
choosen history to solve the problem which my dear friend pointed. As
a student of history I have written Prophet of Islam for Prophet
    Muhammad
bin Abdullah bin Shaiba in Hashim (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)
which is accurate in any way, If I would have written My Prophet or
our Prophet then again it would sound like above.
  • For those friends and MySpace,
Wordpress and Blogger readers, the Arabic just after the words Prophet

of Islam mean Peace Be Upon him and this is my emphasis because I am
not on the way to truth but I am amongst those whom have found the
    truth
so, for me things have clear concepts. That is why I have added my
    emphasis
and I preserve my basic right over it.

  • I have touched some controversial
topics and reader has freedom of expression and thoughts as well as
I do. I don not intend to produce blasphemy if you think there is, let

me know where it is and clear your point of view.

  • If you’re to follow me
    on twitter/yello.pk then
do this at your own risk. I don’t urge anyone
to read any of my blogs or to thumb up or down its entirely your
    choice.

NOTE: FOR SITE
ADMINs

  • I know if you’re reading
this then you might have some extra time today, anyhow, I intend to
write what I think and I express what I found to be truth. If anyone
gets problem then I am not responsible for documented history or
    expressions
expressed here. But I can delete my blogs entirely if you can’t bear
me, ban me. I will feel no worry.
  • I don’t persue anyone
whether to read/suggest others to read or thumb me up or down or leave

their comments or not. If you think there must be some predefined
    count
of reads then I don’t yet understand the point people like you…
better give me a PM and let leave the place.

  • I am a regular user of internet
and blogs. I may not be Dan Brown but posses a good cult who read what

I express, for any abusive (as some say) or irresponsible comment or
thing left by readers, I hold no responsibility readers are at their
own to extract meanings they want.

  • For those you know I am
talking to them, If you want to ban my blogs again because you think
I have talked too dirty then simply ask me to delete them.

Steve: Usman, whas up there.

Loving Soul: hmmm…. Nothing
just doin’ work n blogging

Steve: Yup I read yr blog abt
terrorism n yr Moslem priest saying that its not Islamic.

Loving Soul: Its indeed un
Islamic
dear…..

Steve: Hands up…. Hands up
for that debate I dunno wts in Islam r not but I know wts in yr country…

Loving Soul: Like whattttt?

Steve: U people live like those
live in woods!

Loving Soul: Whattt.. What do
you mean Steve… you know you’re sayin’ we are …….

Steve: com on…. I’ve seen
some footage abt girls who r married in early age n even with father
like ppl bcm their Hus.

Loving Soul: anything else?

Steve: don’t mind but U ppl
don’t have enough courage to stand angst injustice. You know? Yr country

is 1 of the notorious, in corruption n terrorism U know your president
is said to be a corrupt one n also when u protest u break anything u
see.

Loving Soul: hmmmm….. Steve,
about marrying in early age I admit but U know our country faced too
much dictatorship n now it will take while to clean sweep every bad
thing… u know democracy in UK n US? They evolved to be best democrats
after a long time. Now its not 1980s its 21st centuary n
u should know our Chief Justice has been restored officially after
awakening
or common person. U know what I had posted in myspace blog of “Role
of a common person in building Pakistan” u know steve there were brutal
attacks on people who had nothing to do with monarchy in UK when 300
yrs ago people stood against disorder and for democracy. And this was
done by people who were protesting. U know when protestants protested
against some bad pops who were involved in child abuse???? Don’t u?
Steve.. see this is not a magical world and here we have to do a lot
to change a lot.

Steve: ok…

U know I don’t blame u but the system
as a whole. I wish it gets changed. And about LG u can safely wait for
that….

The above lines are taken from my
MSN
chat history. And possibly you will also be astonished as I
am. Steve is one of my best friends online. He is of my profession.
Steve here I say that I like your quality of not being biased against
a certain Religion or Culture.

I was stunned to hear such things from
such a person who is not Pakistani. But also I was stunned he didn’t
blame Islam in general. Because the current mindset, set by biased media

by Maligning Islam and Muslims is not like his. But the questions raised

by him are so much important but common.

People like Steve often ask us why
in Pakistan we see underage marriage and overage too? And it becomes
even worse where the two ends meet; underage + overage.

Who is responsible for this all mess?

Islam?

People of Islam; means Muslims?

Our System?

To answer the above questions we have
to ask some questions ourselves.

Lets start from the last.

Is our SYSTEM responsible for
this problem? Does? And, if so, then Why? Our system allows this?
Permits this and gives sanctuary

to those who do this?

Unfortunately; yes, it does.

Our system is composed of some non
Muslim inherited
traditions, values and beliefs, and of course those

who posses them are still Muslims… Islam came here first as
some innocent and oppressed Muslims, and then came traders and invaders.

Anyhow it’s another topic. This is somehow a historic and OPEN SECRET
which is bestowed to those who dive deep in history. And I hope you
are one of them.

In short most tribes became (converted
to Islam and then called themselves) Muslims. But still there were a
lot of things lot of traditions and thoughts which were not converted
or neglected. And there were and are some concepts, some points of view
rejecting Islamic Faith. And one of them is considering…

عورت پاؤں کی جوتی
ہے۔ Which means women are footwear.

This thought came from Brahmanism

(Note: I have not said Hinduism), every religion preaches mercy and
love but some have some dark past/rituals.

Manu G wrote his book of social laws
and classified (you’ll soon read my blog about classification just
got some illness now days) humanity in different sections and those
who were accepted to have soul were 4 Casts and Women, but every women
must die before or with her husband and its must that any women who
is going to be married MUST
enjoy her father doing Kanyadaan, or else she will die and become

a witch (soul wandering and cannot have Punr
Janam
) and she’ll have to bear for an undermined time period.

What followers of this law made in
their mind was (and is) theory that Women are such wretched being

that even gods had to debate and over their possibility of possessing
some blessings or Soul. So such a species which is even controversial
amongst gods, can be safely ignored and brought under oppression.

The second half of law which
constituted
that women are bound to their Next of Kin in matter of Marriage and
Mantra casted an everlasting spell upon human psychology. This world
which is being ruled by Male Population (even in Pakistan Male are in…
49% Ratio only) and this is what they wanted in an age when they
outnumbered
women. The same concept was replaced with Islamic concept of Wali

that a person (amongst next of Kin), is responsible of taking care of
girl until she marries. This made new Muslims feeling at home, they
still had life long control upon Feminine. But there was something more,

the so called Muslims followed their sexual desire and lust for underage

girls by Mis-Interpretation of Islamic Prophet Muhammad (سلی
اللہ علیہ وسلم). Because according to documented history
he married Aysha Bint Abi Bakr (عائشہ بنت ابی بکر رضی
اللہ تعالی عنھم) when she was 14 (some historians claim
9 which is never been approved by Analytical Science and also could
not get the status of JamHur ‘جمہور’ which means not majority
which means at least 1/3rd of Grand Ulema). Now these Muslims

abused the example of Prophet (سلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) by
following only the tiny part of this wonderful example. I will touch
this point soon, but first of all let’s see the controversy of
Wali
.

Wali means some one who is
Watchful
and Enough Powerful that one can sustain a system of which one is
Wali
. But Wali also have some limitations, Wali is
never been Waali, which means Lord or Unlimited Authority.

The role of Wali was introduced
in such an era when the existence of women was in terrible danger. It
was time when anyone could get them under pressure. Women were allowed
to travel but with some Mehram (the one which cannot marry her according

to law or her husband) only because she would feel safer. There was
another reason which is psychological that she may get her desire and
may go astray.

But when time passed the women in
Arabia
traveled without them freely because these Muslims knew the original
concept of Wali. As a protector not authority, but was still
followed this rule while marrying as it sounded graceful. In
contradiction
to this, the new Muslims in Sub continent took this as rival to their
old concept and still practiced their old law with new names, now
Kanyadaan
, became Rukhsatgi and Mantra (منتر) became
Nikah
. Nothing got changed except some minor things, now in some
families (but unfortunately sill not all) allowed them to have second
marriage if 1st was broken or widowed. And also some families

(again unfortunately still not all) gave them their inheritance rights.

But women of Sub-Continent were still
in almost same status line. پاؤں
کی جوتی…

Now whenever some one would had to
marry they would simply marry anyone amongst family or from other
families
in very strict situations and under very harsh rules, there was no space

for asking her whether she liked her husband or not but a white space…. Yes, white space is a special character
in computer science when you press the space bar you get no character
representation rather cursor moves one unit further. This is perceived
by applications and processor as character represented as a white space.

Why I said that, basically I love computers. In common language spoken
in Pakistan you can say it as “Paper Work” or کاغذی
کاروائی.

And what is that? That is, actually
according to Islamic laws; women must be agreed for marriage and it
is enforced to them to accept the marriage and that’s all done.

There are even more lines this topic
posses but, in short, I will touch the other topic of this point, the
marriage with عائشہ بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنھم
; as described above she was according to medical science ready to
marry,
but the reason behind this was her father Abu Bakr ابو بکر رضی
اللہ عنہ asked Prophet of Islam (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)
to marry her daughter and showed her daughter and his own desire to
marry Prophet of Islam (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) and was accepted
in a way that after Nikah she would spend most of time in her father’s
home except when meal times. And also she would not be touched unless
she is a woman. And rest of prophet’s life saw only couple of years
of her agreed age.

Now these blinds don’t see the
character
of their Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) rather they obey
only the first half. Which was showed that in a circumstance of very
tight situation when there is no way but to do that, one can do it.
But also one have to follow what Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)
did himself.

But they won’t agree, okay, here
is something which shuts their blasphemous mouths.

One a girl came to Prophet of Islam
Muahmmad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) and asked him that her
father married her when she had no senses (was too little/underage
child/girl),
now what should she do? Prophet of Islam (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)
responded in very kind and gave her liberty of either keeping her
marriage
or break it right away. And she broke it.

Tell me where is WALI now?
Basically
he was there, not known why her father had done so but when she wished
she nullified her Wali’s act.

The above tradition (called Hadith
or Hadees in Arabic) clarifies that underage marriage is prohibited
except in very much tight condition.

So, what we are talking about is, the
question that, Does system allows underage marriage?

And we have seen from where this
concept
came and how is it still being practiced even after 1000 years of advent

of Islam.

Now the other questions:

Islam?

People of Islam; means Muslims?

Are now cleared, that so called Muslims

do this but their doing this can’t make this Islamic act.

Now answering the other arguments from
my dear Steve Aus;

We are more than enough tolerant about
our leaders and politicians… I admit that we come in streets
when it’s over our heads and we have no other choice save, going in
safe mode… LOL

About corruption and President of
Pakistan
this is what western media says and also judicial trial is on the way.
Hope the air gets clear.

What I want to express here is a
federal
minister insisting that they (Politicians) have right to be corrupt.
You can watch the video the anchor person asks about corruption and
he proclaims that they save rights to do so. And he meant it literally
not kiddingly (As, he confirmed it saying that its not joke).

The problem with protests and our
outrage
is because of our keeping quite for a long time then we awake… upppss
what’s happning there? And the hell is broken loose.

We as a Nation owe to those journalists

who put their lives at risk and fought against social injustice and
at the same time spread the light of awareness.

There is another reason which is very
real that is action of the external hand, Indian Intelligence
RAW, Mosad, CIA and KGB put their full force to break every thing they
can in Pakistan, though that be a grass straw.

But the must have some concealing
sentcuary
to make is look like Pakistani people are doing this. Just 2 months
ago there were very strong protests against Load Shedding in Mandi
Bahauddin,
I saw youngsters from schools and colleges breaking sign boards and
anything they encounter.

Why Is this so?

I think this because of two reasons,
CIA controls politicians through their $s, black money in foreign
accounts
(black mailing like your account in Switzerland will be frozen) and
other things alike.

They don’t go to Youth directly rather;

they will direct politicians to encourage riots in the name of social
justice and bringing revolution (انقلاب).

Now these angry young men would come
in streets and on roads breaking road signs and bill boards, they will
do anything they would be able to do with the help of a staff.

This is where the conspiracy plot takes

its start; the terrorist (RAW, Mosad, CIA and KGB) agents come into
action in disguise of common people and they start burning anything
they access from shops to even plazas, in recent years I saw many people

protesting against a bunch of issues from misplaced speed breaker to
blasphemies of Christian POP Benedict against Islam and Prophet of Islam

(صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) now what I saw (2006) was stream
of people raising slogans and some broke glasses of Greenz Hotel, Bank
Alflah, Taste Point and many other remarkable places, but its was like
they are just going on, nobody stopped there to especially break things,

then suddenly a group of outraged people came from north side of city
and they stopped the train, broke the glasses, and stoned the
passengers,
they set many things on fire but it was due to good word by brave fire
men who didn’t allowed the loss to cross the line of some thousands.
Police came and people shattered but those rioters were still there
to play cat and mouse.

Now everyone will say that this due
to intervention of foreign Intel Agencies who want to destabilize
Pakistan,
but what about our role?

They look just like us. I am not saying

stop wearing Shalwar Qameez ( شلوار قمیص is Traditional Pakistani
Dress) rather, I mean we have to act like civilized people, Protest
means to raise your voice so loud that I gets listened, there are a
lot of other ways to protest than breaking things belonging not our
enemies but us. What if a train is burnt? The next day you could miss
a very important meeting, or what if you burn all the Hi Aces (a model
name slang term for Van in Pakistan) and Busses, the next day someone
may need them so badly to go somewhere, what if you throw stones and
damage Ambulances? May next day you get injured in a roadside accident
and…

Thanks for bearing me.
